This is a reminder that the programs I am offering at my new shoppe begin in February. In the future, I will probably list the programs here and use this blog site to communicate any changes or cancellations. This computer world is still fairly new to me, so please bare with me if my approach is rather haphazard at first. :)

A Little Hope

In these challenging times, I think we can all use a little hope. There was a point in my adult life, when I had achieved many of the things that society said should make me happy, but I still felt this sense of “is that all there is?” Shortly after that, a series of small coincidences occurred that opened me to believing that there was more to life than what I could detect with just my five senses. Life became more wondrous and mysterious to me and I began to have a sense of hope.
I just read the book, The Celestine Prophecy, by James Redfield, for the second time. It speaks of nine insights that humans are beginning to discover that will greatly enhance our journey towards a more spiritually based and fulfilling life. I realize now that the book is describing my own journey, thus far, plus giving me more information to help me further along my path. I have chosen this book as the first selection for my “Spirit Book Club” (see “UPCOMING SERVICES” below) because I think it is the perfect base from which to begin sharing what I have experienced, in the hope that it will assist others on their own journey. Please join me as, together, we explore this wondrous, mysterious life and remember how to truly let our spirit soar! - Paula Richards

I am unbelievably excited to share the opening of my new shoppe with you.

Spirit Rising is dedicated to empowering people to believe in themselves and create the life of their dreams. Offering uplifting art, gifts and services in a nurturing setting, I aim to provide the tools and inspiration to help people expand their view of what is possible and truly let their spirit soar!

I am writing this blog not only to keep you informed of programs and events at my new shoppe, but to share information that has helped and inspired me on my own journey to a more joy filled life.

I believe that each and every one of us has an opportunity to live a wonderful, rewarding life and that we each have extraordinary gifts to share. As author, Pat B. Allen says, “We owe it to the world to be as alive as we can, to give what is unique in us to give.” It is upon these beliefs that I have founded my business.

Spirit Rising comes to Chelmsford Center

On December 7, 2008, spirits were lifted as Spirit Rising opened its doors for the first time. Located in Chelmsford Center, this unique shoppe offers uplifting art, gifts and motivational services. Created and owned by Lowell artist, Paula Richards, Spirit Rising offers original paintings and workshops, inspirational books and expertly handcrafted items. She happily takes items from displays and wraps them up for you with tender, loving care. And if you like the whole display, you can take it with you or make use of Paula’s interior design services. As one customer remarked, “It’s as if Newbury Street has come to Chelmsford Center, but without the Newbury Street prices.” Paula also offers motivational workshops and seminars on topics such as “Dare to Dream”, “Pay Attention” and “Will the Real You Please Stand Up!” Whether it’s adding beauty to your home, sharing a beautiful gift with a friend, or bringing out the beauty within yourself, Spirit Rising is designed to help you.
